Sarah, the Cheetah, recently became the fastest known creature on our planet by running a hundred meters on a USA Track & Field-certified course established by the Cincinnati Zoo in a mere 5.95 seconds and thus breaking Utsain bolt’s record of 9.58 seconds. As astonishing as the record sounds in a human context, experts say that it is possible that cheetahs in the wild run even faster.
